Megan brings a distinct vantage point given her background in both Media and Account Management. While her 12+ years of experience includes most aspects of integrated marketing, her strongest focus has been interactive marketing and online media. Megan has lead ground-breaking interactive marketing initiatives that have made considerable impact on consumers and client’s business alike.
Megan began her career as a media planner at Foote, Cone & Belding in Chicago. Her training there allowed her to bring a ‘traditional’ advertising background to the emerging interactive space as she transitioned to the interactive division for FCB. It was there that she became one of the early pioneers of the interactive industry in Chicago, while she managed online media planning and buying for clients such as Block Financial and S.C. Johnson. After her time at FCB, Megan co-launched the Media and Analytic Services department at Leo Burnett’s Giant Step, working on Oldsmobile, Kellogg, and Hallmark.
Megan served as both a Media Director and an Account Director during her tenure at Four Points Digital, later, marchFIRST. First, with the Chicago office, where she contributed to many successful media and online marketing campaigns for clients like Sears, Allstate and Encyclopedia Britannica. Then, in San Francisco where she helped launch their West Coast presence, Megan shared oversight responsibility for a department of 35 Media professionals; and then served as Account Director on Reckitt-Benckiser, helping the packaged goods company launch an interactive marketing pilot program with Electrosal and JetDry, and build a 5-year vision around customer acquisition and retention.
Megan has been invited as a guest speaker on the topic of “Interactive Marketing and Advertising” for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA).
