Brooke’s combined experience in traditional marketing and interactive media has translated into ground-breaking online initiatives for her clients. Brooke was one of the early pioneers of the interactive industry in Chicago. At the very first interactive division for Foote, Cone & Belding, she managed media planning and buying for clients such as Block Financial and S.C. Johnson. Later, along with Megan Crump, Brooke co-launched the Media and Analytic Services department at Leo Burnett’s Giant Step, working with Oldsmobile, Kellogg’s, and Hallmark.
Brooke later became a Media Director at Four Points Digital (later marchFIRST) in Chicago, where she over-saw initiatives for Sears and Allstate . She then led an eight-person team tasked with developing all global interactive marketing initiatives for 3Com (both B2B and consumer divisions). In this capacity, Brooke was responsible for setting the strategic approach, global budget allocation modeling, metrics development and senior-level Client service for a $13+ Million online media budget. In addition to leading the Client work, she shared oversight responsibility of the Media Department, and was a key contributor in building the group from 3 to over 20 media professionals.As a freelancer in 2001, Brooke partnered with several leading agencies in Chicago to deliver online marketing programs for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, The American Dental Association, and Cars.com. She was also called upon to consult in the area of media department organization and best practices. Agencies include Tribal DDB, Foote, Cone & Belding, GreenHouse Marketing, and Critical Mass.Brooke has been invited as a guest speaker on the topic of “Interactive Marketing and Advertising” for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA).
